The Legislative Assembly’s Reconciliation Action Plan includes a commitment to provide educational opportunities and resources to Members and staff to enhance understanding of Indigenous history and contemporary issues.
As part of this commitment, a recommended reading list was prepared to provide a range of perspectives about Indigenous peoples and reconciliation. This preliminary list was informed by outreach and engagement with Indigenous leaders and communities during the 42nd Parliament. The recommended reading list may evolve with feedback and recommendations as the Reconciliation Action Plan reaches further stages of implementation and engagement.
Each of the titles are available at the Legislative Library and can be reserved by selecting the title or contacting or visiting the Legislative Library.
